    What is correct weightage of marks for class 10 in CBSE

    Respected Sir,

    What is correct weightage of marks for class 10 in CBSE.

    Pls tell me that is it 20 % for SA1 and 40% for SA2
    Because some people are saying that these are 30% each in SA1 And SA2

    The summative assessment in the first term will carry 20% weightage and the summative assessment in the second term will carry 40% weightage.

    Sir I think you are wrong as some of my teachers are saying that it is 30% for sa1 and sa2 in session 2012-13

    No , what Sahoo sir says is absolutely right . As , I too overheard my Principal saying that we should concentrate more on SA 1 as it carries more weightage.

    Even my daughter says 30% weightage for SA1. The CBSE guidelines say 20%. Can it be different for different schools? My daughter studies in National Public School.

    It is 30% for sa1 and sa2 in session 2012-13 as I know. My cousin is in same class, he said me this, so i thought it to let you know.

    I completely agree with Rahul, concentrate more on SA1. Even you can focus more this things constantly. The more you focus to more good marks you can get.

    Actually according to latest CCE automation, sa 1 and sa 2 both carry 30 % weightage.. and fai fa2 fa3 and fa4 all carry 10 % weightage so both term 1 and term 2 carry 50 % weightage total. You can also take it as 5 cgpa for term 1 and 5 for term 2 of total 10
