CBSE and ICSE boards are going to be merged soon?

Hello members, I am new in this forum and hope to attain valuable information about education. I have heard a news somewhere that CBSE and ICSE boards are going to be merged soon. is that true? Please guide me.

I am Mohammad Navas, I too heard the same from One Pricipal. She was the Princiapl of An ICSE school for last 7 years and now she has shifted to CBSE School. SHe said All the Boards will be merged and become CBSE by 2015. Thats why she has moved( Movement may be for something else....)


But Could not find any concrete news anywhere.
