DISCREPANCY IN DATA IN CBSE 12TH CLASS CHEMISTRY 2013 MARCH EXAM
Qn no.24 OF SET CODE NO 56/3 is:
Calculate the emf of following cell at 25 deg C:
Ag(s)| Ag+ ( 10-3 M) || Cu2+ ( 10-1 M)|Cu (s)
Given E0 Cell = +0.46 V and log 10n = n.
For the cell representation given in question E0 Cell cannot have +ve value as the standard electrode potential (as per electrochemical series) of cathode is less than that of anode . (Actually cell should have been represented with Cu as anode and Ag as cathode in the question paper). Thus this question is wrong.How CBSE will evaluate the answer sheets?How to bring this to the attention of CBSE panel?
