How much do you pay for your education in India?

Is it affordable? Are there any free programmes? In some countries universities are free (like in France), but in other countries you need to pay (UK)

Well, I can say that Education is affordable in India.U get schools which are free (For peoplw below BPL line) and u get schools which are international, high cost, and u get schools in between too..Same goes with the colleges here. Colleges do provide free education to high ranking students as scholorship, and to peoplw which are BPL.In andra pradesh you can get many colleges which are very affordable, even if u do not have a scolorship or high rank.U can try there.Colleges under JNTU will be good.

There are many institutes which are providing free education in India. Lots of NGOs and Corporates are pumping money into education. Govt's Skills Development program is also helping people gain skills and become employable.

In India, free education is offered only to children in the age group of six to fourteen years. It depends on universities which offer free education. It is true that education is free in France but only to citizens of that country. Tuition fees per year range from £7,000 to £9,000 for Arts courses and £7,500 to £12,000 for Science courses.
