As per the sources, Some institutions are not featured in this ranking as they did not share the factual data on time with Surveyors.
I know that the Jadavpur University top leading University in India. So, I think it should be in this list.
There are many top colleges for engineering.you have to choose in an order
National wide top colleges
1) NIT Warangal
2) Visveshvaraya National Institute of Technology- Nagpur
3) NIT Suratkal, Mangalore
4) Indian Institute of Technology, Allahabad
5) Motilal Nehru National Institute of Technology, Allahabad
