I recently completed my BA (Journalism, Psychology, English) and decided to take a year off to introspect regarding Post-graduation. After completing a two month internship in a PR firm I decided to pursue PG in Mass Communication. However admission into a good Mass Communication program requires in-depth knowledge of global and state affairs. Since September I have been reading up more about the world and enhancing my knowledge so that I will be able to crack the multiple round selection process.

My question is:

During the time of admission, will I have to substantiate this gap year in terms of internships/ certificate courses, etc? Or is it enough if I explain to them that I have been reading more and gathering more knowledge about the world which will serve as a good base for my PG course.

Thank you!
