Can I change optional subject as a private candidate?

can any one tell if whether i can get only that subject which i had last year or i can change the optional subject this year I last year opted IP as additional this year as a private candidate i want to opt physical education help me with right answer

You can apply for private examiniation only on those subjects which you were having previous year.

Yes, you can. Firstly, I'd opted for IP, then IP+ hindi, then Comp sc alone and now finally as a private student, I have phy edu. you just have to tell your school's principal about it.
A final list comes to the school from CBSE office before you get your registration cards, in case of any mistake. they ask the school authorities to review. that time your subject can be changed. but hurry!
probably the final list is sent before oct. you really gotta hurry up. best of luck.
