want to choose between geography and economics for MA

My brother has done BA from Allahabad university,
with geography , economics and english. and BEd. from deen dayal upadhay university.

we are trying to find in which area , no. of jobs are more.(Georgraphy or Economics) so that he can take that subject
    for MA.

note: we do understand geography sounds easy, but the matter is we are trying to find where getting job is easier in india as far as the subject is concerned.

Both the courses are good to pursue for Post Graduation, for the higher education and also for the jobs. Still an MA in Economics will help you to explore more fields for job than geography. You can work in private and public sector enterprises. The other option is Indian Economic Services. The institution ofyour course also matters, because the workshops, seminars, conferences conducted by the departments will help you to meet eminent persons and similar minded people. It will also make you more knowledgeable. You can find such places in universities like Delhi University, Ashoka university, Lovely Professional University, Manav Rachna etc. You can also avail scholarships for your study in some of the universities.
