Enrolling as a private candidate for CBSE-XII exam

Hi,
I had given CBSE-XII examination in 2011-12 for subjects Commerce with Math but got failed .
Now i want to enroll myself as a private candidate for examination 2012-13 but in different subjects.
My question is , i. Could i enroll myself for others subject ?
ii. Am i eligible for the same ?
